About Me.
Hi, I’m Jenifer Oxford — founder of Anew Path Coaching.
On April 2, I celebrate 10 years in recovery. A decade ago, my life looked very different. I know firsthand the fear, the chaos, the broken trust, and the feeling of not knowing how to live without substances. I also know what it feels like to rebuild a life piece by piece — learning how to show up, be accountable, repair relationships, and find real joy again.
Recovery didn’t just help me stop using. It taught me how to live.
Over the past several years I’ve worked closely within the behavioral health and recovery community, helping individuals and families navigate treatment, sober living, and the transition back into everyday life. I realized something important: many people don’t relapse because they don’t want sobriety — they relapse because they don’t know how to function in real life once treatment ends.
That gap is where peer support matters.
Education & Professional Background
2000-2025
LVN
Blinn College
My work in recovery support is grounded in both lived experience and healthcare training.
I hold a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification in Nursing from Blinn College. My clinical education has provided a strong understanding of addiction as a medical condition, including withdrawal, relapse risk, co-occurring disorders, and the importance of continuity of care.
